A bloatlord is someone who lifts heavy weights, with a lot of strength and muscle but also a high body fat %. These types of individuals are usually seen in powerlifting or strongman, where a higher body fat % is more optimal for maximum strength, and less common in purely bodybuilding due to the loss of aesthetics from bloatmaxxing (the process of becoming a bloatlord through bulking). However , some bodybuilders will go on large bulks such as Jay cutler to gain muscle and do a big cut, so they can somewhat be considered to bloatmaxx.
The term bloatlord was popularized by the Greek strongman Kyriakos "Grizzly" Kapakoulak. Kyriakos Grizzly is a Greek Strongman residing in Kavala, Greece, and weighs in at a peak of 200kg or 440lbs. His weight is so large that he mogs the scale, as it exceeds its capacity, and simply says "FULL". His insane strength and lifts made him popular and created the bloatlord and bloatmaxx terms, as fans respected his monstrous size and strength.
Term Usage
While the term bloatlord was initially used to refer to individuals of large size and strength, its usage has devolved into being used to refer to people who are fat as fuck(similar to Sigma). When referring to an obese person, or someone with very slobbish characteristics, they may be called a bloatlord.
